Pelican has best design IMO. You can't lock up a Yeti/et al. in a truck bed, but Pelican has handles molded into their ice chests that you can put a chain through.

I literally ordered 25 of the chinese coolers myself directly from the factory & I couldn't be happier. They are a fraction of the price of any of the coolers that are mentioned above & are every bit as good as far as quality & ice retention.

Despite one of the previous comments against them, I like my Kysek cooler. It has a piece molded in and reinforced with metal that lets you lock it in the truck bed with a cable. They also make a bad arse insulated back pack. Their offices are in Covington.

Not exactly true. I live in Natchez and I've tried to meet up with him a couple of times to get mine which were part of the very first order and I never got a response from him when I sent him texts to meet in Port Gibson.

Lol I don't want the OB China special. Glad I didn't get in on that deal.

What you don't realize is that the factory in china that makes RTIC coolers is the same exact factory that makes the OB Chinese coolers. I 100% verified this. When you buy an RITC or a YETI, you are just paying for the name. Brand recognition is huge for their products. Props to their marketing team for all they have done but I can assure you that the chinese coolers which were sold here are poured by the same folks that pour all the RTIC coolers.

Glad I did. No sticker but some damn good boxes. For about 28% of Academy prices.

The guy you want to talk to is Cook.

Just so you know, it's not as simple as calling them up & ordering a cooler. You have to have a business, an EIN #, setup logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, etc... It's a nightmare if you aren't familiar with the process. There is a 25% tariff on anything coming from China right now. That wasn't the case when NC was selling them here. You will need to order a container full of coolers to make it worth it. Minimum order is normally 100 coolers per size and color.

They have a company here in the US that sells these coolers without all the import hassle. Half of the coolers that I got from china came in boxes with this companies logo on them. I'm not sure if they just supply to these guys or if they are just a distributor for them here in the states.

https://customcoolerstore.com/

I want to be very clear that I am not affiliated with either of these places & I am not selling anything on this board. I am simply providing information.

I don't doubt that the coolers are made the same place in China. I said that I'm glad I didn't get in on the deal because I was wrongly under the assumption that most didn't even receive their coolers. Now I wish I would have bought a few.

I haven't confirmed that it's his website but I can 100% confirm that the factory in china that I posted a link to is the factory that supplies that website and it is the factory that produces rtic as well as the coolers NC sold here.
