I understand all of that. What I don't understand is why it called a duck calling contest. Yes the meat call competitions are legit, that is a duck calling contest.
I guess I was more concerned as to which type this one would be.
Phil is right. The duck calling copetitions are great for what they are. But too many yahoos watch those guys to learn how to call ducks. It has gotten better, but when I ws grwing up we didn't have as many resources for learning and every joker in the marsh was blowing 30 note hail calls at working birds, because they watched Bubba win the nationals in Stuttgart on the outdoor channel doing that.
