A lot of people held over crawfish pond water to hunt. Birds have been stacked up around here for the last few weeks.

Only killed 3 in Lafourche, but damn it was nice to get out. Actually killed a green wing.

Pretty strong on the Eastside too. Limits in Winnie. I guess this weekend will be it after we get all this rain.

Shot 1 at Justin Hurst south of Houston. Ducks were there but not where we were. Most lottery tags they've ever handed out.

19 limits (multiple groups) at our place W of Houston. I wasn't able to go. Thanks, covid. Great timing. Hopefully some stick around for next weekend. With all the rain predicted, birds will likely scatter.

Don’t be too discouraged. Last year when a similar type system moved up CenLa’s way, it moved a lot ducks below us back up. Had the best day our blind has had in 20 years.

Didn’t see a teal in Maurepas swamp wma. Lots of skeeters and woodies. Wishing we could blast wood ducks during early teal.

Didn't hunt but was cleaning up camp and fishing off pass a loutre in Venice. Saw 20 teal since Friday. 2 of the camps killed a couple each.

Still good signs, I'm liking the look of this thread. I need to check in with some of the CenLa baws to see how they did. Anyone see any big ducks mixed in here and there?

We got two limits of teal yesterday. There were a few big ducks mixed in here and there but not a whole lot. Not much shooting this morning.
