Anyone have experience with Rise Armament or CMC drop in triggers?

I have a Rise trigger.

I had it in my Grendel (80% lower) and it would not function in that gun AT ALL.

The Rock Island 2 stage runs flawlessly in it.

It was pretty dang frustrating trying to figure out why the gun was a single shot until I got to the trigger.

I have not tried it in another gun (non-80%). After I do and it's still messed up I'l call the company and see what the deal is.

Have not had any experience with those triggers sorry. Are you looking for a single stage or 2 stage trigger?

While I wait for some more space force parts I had some time to put together the stock space cannon. This is PSAs 12.5 pistol kit and the cannon lower.

Went together pretty smooth considering it’s my first from scratch lower build technically. No parts broke or lost Only thing that needs work so far is the bolt catch. Have to slap it in pretty hard for it to catch. Have not cycled any rounds yet. Also took some weights of the kit no optic or mag. Then with a RD optic, empty mag and a DT Omega

Looking for a single stage for a pistol build. I already have a Geissele SD3G in one of my others. Looking for something new but don't want to spend too much

Gonna be hard to top that if you are already used to it, awesome trigger.

I've actually had some issues with getting light strikes with it

Did you install the hammer spring backwards? Shouldn't be getting light strikes with a geissele. They use full power springs.

It's possible. My first install.

It's light strikes on certain ammo, not all.

The legs of the spring should be forward. In front of the hammer and then the spring comes around behind it.

Not sure if that makes sense or not.

Fits snug and feels solid. Heavier than a sb3 but on this 308 it all balances nice. Havent shot it yet but so far so good.

Well ordered up the Alien 51 PSA lower last night. Thinking it’ll be for a 7” 300blk build

Reds is that your first one from PSA? I skipped that one but my space walker has shipped and my A-salt is pending

What is your process on duracoat? I thought about doing some of that or ceracoat but wouldn’t mind not paying for someone to do it.

I would like to do my space force in a deep flat black so it all matches and cover up the white on the rail.

I tried the new frontier side charger upper but that hand guard would not fit it, so I got a Odin works upper.

Think I'm gonna do the 7" Honey Badger barrel assembly from Q for this build. Price isn't too hard to swallow since it also comes with an adjustable gas block.

Thinking this build will look something like:
7" HB Barrel Assembly
CMC Single Stage
Ambi LPK
SBA3 pistol brace
SLR Helix handguard
Q cherry bomb brake
DD pistol grip
Raptor ambi charging handle

Need to decide on a BCG and scope for this one. Will be used shooting subs 99% of the time.

On a little 7" rig like that I think I would stick with a sba3. Having the sba4 on that 12.5" 308 build feels better suited for that brace IMO.
