I'm Form 1ing a couple of more lowers as well. Came across some pieces by chance that have me getting into the clone game

Currently I'm looking at the Ruger AR-556 and S&W M&P Sport II and leaning toward the S&W due to the finish.
I concur with jdavid1. I have a friend that has the S&W and it's a very good value. I'm sure the Ruger is solid too but I have no personal experience with it.

Sounds like I can slap some Magpul furniture on it and have a really solid platform
This is the fun thing about AR's. You can buy a good rifle for a decent price and then upgrade it if/when you want.

I was the same way. Wanted to form 1 a sbr. Then came the brace error and that scratched the itch because the wait was also so long. Now that it’s so low I may just do a cpl lowers. Like above I have pistol lowers so on a pinch I could just swap. Once silencer shop is up and running for new orders I’ll do a few.

I have a stripped lower that I bought years ago....never been assembled. But isk if they put it down as rifle or pistol. Anyway to find out?

Apparently, you’re not responsible for what the dealer puts on the form 4473. Here’s an AR15.com thread where the OP is asking the same exact question. First 4 responses are basically it doesn’t matter what the dealer puts on the form. Take it for what it’s worth.

What's everyone's favorite red dot? Trying to decide between Trijicon RMR and Leupold Deltapoint Pro but am also open to other options.

For me, Aimpoint, but it depends on your use.

I had one of these on a Glock and it had the battery issues. Look that up if you aren't familiar with it. I like Trijicon and I'm sure they've fixed the issue, and would take care of it anyway. Just something to be aware of.

If you bought it as a stripped lower its a "other" and can have a brace or a stock if over 16" barrel or you can SBR it and have what ever length barrel. If it was sold as a rifle it has to be SBRd to be shorter no matter what. If its bought as a complete rifle that is the only thing it can be.
RRR look at the Holosun 508 or 510 (small and big version solar power with different reticles)I forget exactly off the top of my head. Less expensive and has some nice features...not sure if its as durable as the others but I dont oper8 sooo lol

Aimpoint. If you are looking for a pistol red dot, the new aimpoint acro looks promising.

Aimpoint PRO.
For fun use, Primary Arms makes some good ones for under $150.

That's great equipment, but it is tiny, yo. I would consider that for an ultralight build or pistol, but not for anything else.
Aimpoint T1 or T2 as others have said.
