they cant just show up and randomly audit individuals. they can only do that to FFLs
if they want a warrant, it's going to be over something legitimate. a judge wont issue one just bc you own NFA items and they want to check

that's a good point. now i feel a little better. 
eta: for items that get destroyed by accident or just normal "wear and tear", do you have to notify them to update their records?

I own a Radical 10.5 upper. It’s on a PSA lower. So far so good but I don’t have but a few hundred rounds through it. Works for me though, I like it

I did. I watched a few vids on YouTube but I made the mistake of not getting Enamel paint. I got acrylic. I'll know better next time. The white sort of left some staining on the areas around the safety switch.
