Idk, it's hard for me to justify the higher cost for ambi features. I've been right handed my whole life and don't have any future plans the switch to South paw. Maybe these features have application in competition or training/combat settings? For instance your hand gets blown off, but then can you still effectively shoulder a rifle or support it while you work the controls? The ambi market has exploded, so I might be missing something. But I think it was in large part due to manufacturers developing the tech for the military rifle trials. Rifles entered into the trials had to be ambi so lefties could better use them. When that fell through in an attempt to capitalize on the R&D dollars spent manufacturers brought it to the consumer market and for whatever reason it took. Then everyone started making ambi parts and retrofits.

I also think it's funny one of their selling points for that lower is a 40% stronger magwell. Like it needed to be beefed up. Other outfits are skeletonizing magwells to reduce a weight without issue.
