Went to Ace Hardware and found the bolt catch roll pin except instead of a 3/32 x 7/16 I used a 3/32 x 1/2. I laid it side by side with the one Sulzer provided in my LPK and I could tell no discernable difference. It went in easily with the 1/8 punch. Here is the completed lower...
Should have my Sulzer nitrided BCG soon and my medium BCM gunfighter charging handle to complete the build!

Engraved immediately or only after approval of form 1? I would assume lower would need to be refinished as well after engraving.

You should engrave before you make it an SBR. You can use alumi black to fill in the engraving so you shouldn't need to refinish the lower after engraving unless your rifle is ceracoated a color other than black. Here's a pic of the engraving on one of my SBRs.

I always engrave the lower first. If my engraver notches it, he can buy a new one. Much easier to do before submitted.
No need to refinish. Get a paint pen and be done.

I engraved mine while waiting for the form 1 to clear. You'll have a nice 3 month wait to do it before approval

Do not engrave the lower first. I've had two customers engrave them prior to approval only to have the ATF tell them specifically to engrave something else. Will it happen to you? Probably not. But that'd be pretty shitty to have one engraving on one side and a different one on the other

Anyone have any experience with AR-Stoner complete A-3 uppers?

I didn't necessarily say engrave before form 1 is approved. Just to engrave prior to building the sbr. I agree though, it's not a bad idea to wait until the F1 is approved to engrave the gun just in case. I've always engraved while still waiting on my F1 but that's just because I was bored and my friend does NFA engraving.

I got the same BCM stock. Big fan.

Just got my Cerakote upper, lower, and rail back from Vince at Khyber Pass. The finish is fantastic and the custom color looks exactly how I pictured it.

I maybe wrong, but it looks like your end plate behind the castle nut is backwards.
Just FYI.

Yeah it looks backwards unless its a QD plate.

Skywalker, what color is that?

Looks like QD to me. Still looks like it's bent though

Looks like a Noveske QD mount

I wanted something different, so had Vince mix Tungsten and Graphite Black. The color looks light in the pic...but its not.

It's a BCM QD endplate. The gold star should face outwards correct?
