You think that's bad? Go see how much it cost to get an accessory from Swarovski that makes things look bigger

Is 33-34 cents a round decent for 223 ammo right now?

Ha, it's worth it though.

I have a can that fits on two rifles. .300 blackout and 6.8 spc
The .300 blackout is Hollywood quiet. All you hear is the action with subs
The 6.8 sounds like a .22 at the most. Pretty amazing piece of equipment.

It was 44 cents at Academy the other day, didn't matter how much you bought. I would think that's a good price.

Arms Unkimited had 1k rounds 55 grain $330 free shipping

Dick's actually had it about $0.10 cheaper with a mail-in rebate for Winchester M855 a few weeks ago.

Finally shot my 22LR AR pistol (the one in my avatar). Based on the 6.5" CMMG 22LR dedicated barrel and barrel collar with a CMMG 22LR bolt. Put about 300 rounds through it. I had about 15-20 FTE mostly in the form of stove pipes though I had a couple of short strokes. Ejection pattern is all over the place. Didn't like the 15yo Thunderbolt as those were most of my FTE. 3-4 per 27 round mag. Thunderbolt didn't seem to have much thump compared to the Winchester bulk pack I shot which could make it through a mag with only 1-2 FTE. Winchester Super-X 40gr ran like a top. Might have to pick up the TACCOM extreme extractor and see if that helps with my extraction problem. Extractor on the CMMG just doesn't seem to grab the case very positively. Already have the Taccom pressure plug.
25 yards 8" target shot standing with a cheek weld on the buffer tube. Optic is unmagnified. Didn't properly sight the scope in yet, at least not from a bench with a proper rest. Got it close enough for plinking. If I can get it extracting correctly it's definitely going to be my favorite plinker.

i have an AAC element 2 for rimfire, a SiCo Octane 45 for centerfire handgun, and a SiCo Omega for 30cal. I shoot the element 2 in my front yard while laying on my couch. I took em all to thanksgiving and we were shooting in a ditch in a nice subdivision. none of the family in the house knew we were shooting. had a customer bring in a 300blk that was giving me trouble. threw my Omega on it and went and shot behind the store to simulate the issue.
they are worth it

Carson, or whoever wants to answer...
So I built my AR last year, the trigger is pretty stiff, its just the trigger that came in a PSA LPK. what would yall recommend for an upgraded trigger? not trying to break the bank, but would like something a little smoother and just better in general i guess.

Not looking to break the bank check out the ALG Defense QMS and ACT triggers ($45-$65 respectively). They are still mil-spec triggers, but they are tuned by Geissele's sister company ALG.
If you're looking for a 2-stage trigger, check out the RRA National Match which comes in around $90.
Getting away from the sub $100 triggers, CMCs start to show up around the $160-$170 range and the Geissele G2S is around there too. Can't go wrong with the ever popular Geissele SSA in the $225 range.

Congrats. I like mine so much I may buy another just have for my 5.56 SBR. Since they have the 5.56 endcap it doesn't make sense to buy the 5.56 can any longer. SilencerCo hit this one out of the park.

looking at 14.5 mid with the front sight block. I like this style to add to my collection. Anyhow, I don't care that the flash hider is pinned on. I'm not a fan of swapping them out. If I ever decide to then I guess I can pay to have it removed.
Because of the pinned flash hider I am looking for a 2 piece rail. I see some come that hide the existing delta ring. Some don't.
Any recomendations for some that do hide the delta ring?
