Night fishing, I have either netted or landed several non-living things, but for the life of me cannot remember any of them. These are times when both of us are convinced we have our kicker too.

I don't think I've ever caught too many weird things. I've caught a sweater and net before but nothing worth laughing about. The dead body wins for sure.

Surf fishing in Destin for Lady fish i caught a pair of bikini bottems.

They were huge.. I would hate to see the walrus that lost her drawers.

No lie tho, they actually had a bunch of little crabs living in them.

ill never look at white a red polka dot swimsuits the same again

I was fishing with plastic and a jig head and caught a brand new purple demon mirrolure. I promptly tied it on and started catching trout with it.

I caught a toilet seat once. The dead body and 2x4 are pretty damn hillarious.

I was fishing off a dock and felt the dead weight, thinking for sure I had hooked some of the concrete rip-rap. Well to my surprise, as it neared the surface handlebars appeared. It was a old rusty bmx bike, but it was oddly too heavy for me to pull up completely to get my line off. So I set my rod down to go get a gig to pull up the bike by the handlebars, and to my further surprise the extra weight was a old car tire stuck to the bike pedal. Who knows what other mysteries lie at the bottom of that lake.

Was in good condition too, a big surf fishing setup, although I was not surf fishing, so I have no idea how it got there.

Does this include things found washed up on the beach while wade fishing in the surf?

3.5 foot alligator on the Red River.

Buddy was in the front. Saw gator on log. Exposes 5/0 hook on worm rig and expertly casts over gators tail. Draws hook alongside tail and gives rod a wicked hookset and sets hook in gators tail. Fight ensues while I navigate boat out of timber to clear water. Buddy draws gator alongside boat for pics but now I have the chore of unhookin this reptile. So I pickup boat cushion and run arm thru straps to use a shield and take pliers to unhook gator

I didn't reel it in. But many years ago while running a trout-line at Old river we found a wallet draped over the trout-line. It had $1, a license and about 20 chicks phone numbers. Looked the guys name up in the phone book and gave him a call. He lost it that weekend while skiing.

what are the odds you could drop a wallet in the water and get it to hang up over a trout line.

Fishing with a guide out of Bayou Dularge years ago. He mentions that the day before a customer shat his pants, wiped with his tighty whiteys and tossed them overboard near the spot where we were fishing. Not ten minutes later, another guy on the boat catches the shitty drawers. There's a picture somewhere. Will post if I can find it.

ranch manager said he remembered seeing a buck with the same looking rack on all his cameras up until this last hunting season and that he thought someone probably wounded it and it wandered in the lake to die or something
