I'm miserable but at my age there isn't anything I can do about it
I haven't ever figured out how people up and switch careers later in life. I've even had 50+ year olds in some of my classes

If you stick with NAME, I might be able to hook you up with some local job options after you're done. My family has been in the ship engine/rigging biz for a while. A lot of the guys who start in NAME switch to ME.
BS in NAME here graduated in 2005. Looking to jump ship and move on due to cut pay. Anything from slidell to gulfport area would be ideal. Not opposed to NOLA for the right job.

First seven years out of college were at a design firm putting together drawing packages for tugs, barges and small osv's. Also did stability studies, nest tapes and provided construction support to shipyards building our designs. Left there in 2012 to work at my family's shipyard. Father passed away and we sold the company. Working for new owner's now. Still doing design and construction support.

Email me. My company in NO is looking for welders. Nothing spectacular, just general fab stuff. Could be a good temp gig until you get something permanent

GREENHEAD22, Ag degree not necessary but ag experience is.
Lots of jobs out there for someone with Farm Management and Real Estate experience.
Delta as in LA/MS/AR/South Tenn and maybe Bama/Texas. Located in Monroe is fine.
Email me at Huntinguy123@live.com and I'll send you info.

It can be very tedious if you work somewhere that you are stuck at a computer all day and don't get any field time at the actual projects. There is a nice sense of completion though and pride when you see a design that you were a part of out on the water working.

Thanks reds on reds. Ideally i would like to move out to the country in southern MS on a large acreage spread. Just need to find some kind of decent work within an hour - hour and twenty minute drive so i can have the funds to maintain the place and not pay kids tuition etc from the savings

Graduated in political sci
Have a family business I can go into, just don't really wanna work for my grandpa right now. Currently do contract work putting up/taking down offices in the day/boil crawfish in Houston on weekends/political work in the afternoon.
I need a hunting break and could use a new hunting/fishing buddy
600~ acres and as a bonus, have a house and boat on the Amite to fish out of for those late office days

How about you just send me a map to that place in Wilkinson Co and I'll see if I can find you a job, you know, since you are in Houston during the week...

Haha only in North Mexico on weekends. Find me a job and you get a weekend of your choice to hunt. Deal?
