I've heard about 18 different stories on ways they're getting away with this or how the company started. They all sound like BS to me.

These soft chests are more about the portability, non leaking, no sweat on exterior, throw in inside of truck and not worry about scratching stuff, great for beaching. I have a 5 yr old that ways 40 something lbs, i have a pic of him literally inside of the ice chest. that is the 40qt size.

It probably holds ice better than cheaper soft shells but these soft shells aren't going to hold ice for multiple days in heat. Water might be still cold though.

Nice. Wife surprised me with a polar beat soft ice chest the other day. It seems pretty solid, but will probably get an attic if it ever starts to sweat through.

You pleased with it overall? Mainly concerned with durability and longevity of the matierial. I know a rotomold will hold ice longer, but I want a soft to have the option. Would never pay what yeti wants for them, but the Rtics seem fair.

It seems to be made out of the same material as the Yeti. I have only used it a few times but it works great.

I just bought an Ao 36 for my Kayak for $70. To each his own.

We just bought an AO as well with the vinyl sides to take to Disney World and it worked great in 95 plus weather at Disney all week.
