Neighbors barking dog.

I need something (not a bullet, although I'd LOVE to) that will shut up a neighbors dog. Anyone have luck with one of the sonic emitters? Or literally anything else?
I learned my lesson and am in the process of selling my house to build in the "country" but until then, I need a solution for a barking dog.
Mentioned it to the neighbors, but that avenue hasn't been fruitful, as they must assume I need to text them everytime the half retarded dog goes bananas.
So basically I want a low key solution to what (hopefully) is a temporary problem.

Oh I've got a whole mess of subsonic 22. But I place more blame on the trashy people, not the dog.

THrow some rocks over the fence while their kids play outside.

In Nola the house next to my parents is a rental that turned over yearly and they allowed large dogs.
Several times they had dumb ones that just couldn’t seem to get used to us kids even being in the backyard without going crazy.
First we told the owner and tried to be friends, next we asked the owner again. The third option was the hose - full blast in the face through the chain link fence.
A few good sprays right in his face and the dogs stoped barking at us.

Can't even throw rocks. The backyard (from what I can see) is a mess. Maybe that's why they make their spawn play in the front. Lord help me until I can be sipping drinks and looking at a few acres of NOTHING. Subdivisions suck. Lesson learned. If you can see a roof, there's a potential problem under it.

There are ultrasonic emitters on the market that may work. I’ve had success with one with my golden but I’m pretty close to him when I use it. Not sure how well it would work at distance.

When my kid was small my neighbors dogs would bark at 2-3 am non stop and wake him up.
I'd throw some frozen deer sausage with cheese and jalapeno over the fence, they'd shut up and I hoped they shite all over his house.

Do they shut it up when you text?
Hey Siri, text the Jonses that their dog is barking again. That would only take five seconds.

Suffer through it as a reminder to never live near trash again.

I had to record my neighbor's dog barking for 10 minutes straight so animal control would fine them. They got fined twice, and I didn't see the dog anymore after that

i called the cops four times about a neighbors dog barking his butt off. cops came out each time and woke the neighbor up. hasn’t been a problem in years. if it starts happening again, i’ll call the cops again. no use in that shite! i generally stay up till 1am or so, but i gotta have my 5-6 hrs of uninterrupted sleep!
btw, i only resorted to that when notes i’d left on their windshield were ignored. damn dog barks at birds, squirrels, falling leaves. you name it and that damn weenie dog barks at it!

If you live in the “ country”, be sure it’s on 200 acres. I live in a rural gated subdivision where lots range in size from 3-12 acres. The residents here think they have to have 2-3 outside dogs because they live in the “country” and nobody can hear their dogs.
Wrong! A dogs’ bark can carry a long way and we can easily hear our neighbors’ dogs. Texting the neighbors works but why do I have to? It has kept us up many a night and woke us in the mornings. We can’t even enjoy our outdoor space because we don’t want to,listen to dogs barking incessantly at air. And once one dog starts barking then all the other dogs around start barking. It’s an endless circle.
Dog owners can be very inconsiderate.

Record their dog barking and play it back for them on some good outside speakers at 2 am every night.

the dog does not respect you
you have to establish dominance over the dog
you are gonna have to jump that fence and mount him

Why mot just buy a cheap barking shock collar and give it to the people. $10 for a little peace would go a long way.
