I regrettably never took my daughters hunting but I started my oldest grandson deer hunting when he was 9. I started him shooting a real gun (22) when he was 7. He was very small for his age. At 9, I bought him a 7/08 Savage Axis youth and a couple boxes of Hornady reduced recoil loads. He is 12 now, still small, and still uses the same gear. He has killed about 10 deer so far. While the reduced recoil loads do dampen the recoil, make no mistake about it. It is still a high powered rifle and it still kicks like one. Make sure you get a scope with a long eye relief. A black eye will certainly not go over well.

If you mean that earnings are not taxed inside the Roth as they are generated, there are many vehicles that provide that.
