I need help finding 7mm 08 ammo. I’m looking for Nosler 140gr Accubond(trophy grade). I looked online but no luck. Any suggestions?

It’s even out on the Nosler website. I have a feeling it’s not a good sign.

Norma, you may be looking for a certain caliber but you better take what you can get

Nosler ammo and components have been very hard to come by. Depending on what kind of bind you're in, you made need to switch.

Yes they have . The Speer hot cor are very accurate and do a good job on deer. I’ve loaded them in several calibers.

I had to give up on Noslers for my Weatherbys.

Simmons Sporting Goods is where I just bought a few boxes of the Hornady custom lite ammo. First time I have seen this ammo available online in a long time. Also have some other options too

Don’t know what part of the world you’re in-Food Giant in Harrisburg, AR had several boxes left after I bought 2 for my youngest son

I have been very pleased with the hunting performance of the Norma round. Two deer, and both dropped.

Does Nosler just not produce a lot of bullets ?

Do they make a ballistic tip for 7mm-08? Since I switched the Nosler ballistic tips and my deer are dropping at a lot higher rate.

Not sure. My daughters were shooting federal fusion in their 7mm-08 but they have been rare for about 2 years. Switched them to Norma this year and they are 5/5. As far as deer dropping in their tracks, that’s an often overrated detail. If you shoot a deer through the lungs it rarely runs more than 100yds. Most of the time half that. If you can’t find a deer bleeding from 2 holes that doesn’t run more than 100yds you may need to take up soccer as a hobby.

I assume it’s Either that or they don’t have the capability to keep up with the demand. I actually emailed them last week to ask when they would make some .308 180gr accubond bullets. Only ones I can find are on gunbroker from a guy in Alaska. Of course my 300wsm loves those and not the Norma or Barnes I tried. They emailed back quickly and said the 150gr Accubonds on are the press now and the 180s should be coming along soon.

I've always shot either Winchester Super X or Hornaday American Whitetail. I bought 5 boxes of Norma Whitetail on sale a few months months ago.

My Weatherby likes them and I'm 1/1 DRT so far this year. I'm planning to send a few more downrange before the season ends.

Ever since Rona, Nosler has been hard to find. I’ve been loyal to them, using BT, Partition, and accubond.

No. Just regular soft points I believe. They are fine for deer.
