I told my wife she needed to make her own cushions, Bc I wasn't paying a ridiculous price.

Everything looks great but that cabinet is beautiful.

Thanks man, the customer is actually going to use it as a kitchen island. Thats why the the back is finished and the top over hangs.

I love that white rustic finish. How did you go about achieving that?

I started with an off white paint, then bought some valspar glaze from Lowe's. I did a black glaze then a brown glaze. I honestly hate the look but the customer loved it. I would highly recommend testing it on scrap first. It's super easy though. Wipe on, wipe off.

that kitchen bar is amazing....if you dont mind me asking, what do you sell that for? just curious because i can't imagine how much time that would take.

We had something similar done to our kitchen cabinets several years ago. A cream base layer, then she did two different colors, I think a light brown and light grey. But it wasn't a glaze, it was paint.

You can also use chalk paint with a dark finishing wax on top.

Thanks sport tiger, I sold it for $1200 and I think that's too low. It has 3 drawers with nice full extension slides, and the back is finished and the top is solid oak. If it didn't have have a finished back and i used pine like most I see done, then I'd probably ask a little less. Surprisingly the biggest time sink was the finish.
