I saw Jimbeam and SaDaTayMoses talking about Teets sausage which made me wonder, where does everyone buy their "favorite sausage" ????????????

I'm 100% with Teets, i find it borderline CRIMINAL to buy anything else!

it's crazy man, i've been cooking a long time, went to UL for a few years and packed it with me. When people would ask me to cook for card games, MNF, or Saturday night football all day drinking, I would agree..... Then they would have different meats and sausage.

I asked every time, is it teets? If not, I simply said i'm not cooking it unless it's teets but i'll cook everything else! lol some were offended until they actually had Teets then instantly understood!

I've never heard of Teet's over here in Lake Charles... might need to check it out if I can find it.

Most people that I know in this area that buy it from a store choose Rabideaux's.

I usually get deer sausage made every year and that's all we eat. I have used a few processors around the LC area but I find Billedeaux's gives me the best taste and they charge a fair price for their service.

Manda sausage is not very good. It will do in a pinch. Richards and Savois are both better massed produced sausage imo. Manda boudin is pathetic.

Yep. That or Richards is better grocery store sausage than Manda. I think they're available in Bama.

It is available at Publix in Tuscaloosa.

We got our deer sausage made at Vine's last year. It is my favorite sausage to use for any meal. No game taste at all and the hot has perfect temperature.

French Settlement sausage is also very good, can be bought in many locations in Livingston parish.

Veron's is also decent stuff

If you use manda sausage for any reason besides it is cheaper to make a big meal, then you are wasting good food. Manda is terrible.
