So when I started my suppressor journey a few years ago I never thought I would have more than 3 or 4 and maybe a couple SBR’s so someone told me to get the single tax stamp for each. Now I have 2 cans, 1 SBR, and I now see that I’ll probably end up having 7-10 at least.

With that being said should I go ahead and get the trust and what cans should I look at getting? I currently have a Hyperion K and a Dead Air Primal.

I have a Ruger Mark V .22 pistol that I would like one for then maybe coupe others for the following guns:

25/06 bolt action 24 inch so would like a shorter can
6.5 PRC bolt action 24 inch barrel like a shorter can
6.8 SPC AR 16 inch
.300 win mag AR 20 inch
Couple threaded 9mm pistols
.556 multiple 16 inch AR’s
.308 AR 16 inch

I’m thinking I would like another short can like my Hyperion K for the longer barrel stuff. Would it make sense to get a 6.5 can for the 25/06 and PRC can or just use my Hyperion K on those.

.556 can
9mm pistol can

I have a dead air mask and a q el camino. I would go with with the dead air mask.

Others that I have and would buy again:
YHM Turbo (5.56)
Q Trash Panda (30 Cal)
B&T RBS SQD (9mm)

All that unconstitutional NFA and tax stamp / trust bullshite is about to gone. In January 1, 2026 tax stamps are going to be $000.00 and it won’t be long after that that the challenges will make it to the Supreme Court. They will use the precedent of the United States v. Miller (1939) which declared the NFA was constitutional only because it was a tax to show that it is no longer constitutional because it is no longer a tax. Plus challenged to the NFA using Bruen precedent are already in the system working up to the USSC. Maybe 2026 but definitely by 2027 the NFA is gone. Suppressors and SBRs and such will be like buying any gun or maybe even like buying groceries.

I have a 65 can for Grendel and 25.06. Not a bad idea if you want another.

Built my first SBR in 2008 and bought my first 2 cans in 2009. Bought an AAC 7.62SD and Silco .22 Sparrow. I thought at the time that’s all I’ll need. I have 11 suppressors and 7 SBR’s. All of my SBR’s are pre pistol brace days.

I have 2 Tirant 9’s and one Silcenco Omega 9. I use for SBR PCC with 3 lug with one Tirant and the Omega. I am going to be buying an Omega K for my Mp5K clone.

I have a dedicated 5.56 can for my MK18 SBR. It’s a Surefire RC2. It’s a tank and can take short barrel blast.

CAT is the new goodness. Anything they have that would fit your needs. Haven’t personally shot them but a few people I trust have and they are currently the top performers.

I have the Cat White Bread Ti on my AR. It's very light and sounds great.
One thing that stand out is the lack of gases in your face.

You really don't realize how much you get until it isn't there. Of course any flow through silencer will do that but the WB is the 1st one I have.

Look at otter creek stuff as well. They are cheaper and work really well from what I've read. They would be good ones for your bolt actions.

I ended up going with the B&T 762 TI for the free tax stamp and good reviews.

Will see how fast it comes in and will be looking to pick up a few more before next hunting season. The below is what I’m still looking to get:

.22 for my Ruger Mark V
9mm for a couple threaded pistols
9mm for PCC
Another 30 .cal for AR 6.8 and .30 cal AR’s
.556 AR’s

May look into a dedicated 6.5 can for 6.5 PRC and 25/06 bolt guns but it would need to be short because the barrels are 24 inches on those.

Rize,
Welcome to the world of buying/owning multiple suppressors! Typically on a thread like this, everyone will recommend what they bought. That's certainly understandable. Once someone's spent time doing the research, spent the money and waited up to 12 months (like I did on one of my suppressors), it's only natural to recommend what they have. Having said that, I have:
Rimfires: SilencerCo Spectre 2, SilencerCo Sparrow. 22 (discontinued).
30 cal: SilencerCo 300 Harvester, Deadair Nomad and Otter Creek Polonium 30 (waiting to pick it up). The Nomad is a pretty big can, but the Polonium 30's size is similar to my 556 cans.
556: Yankee Hill Machine Turbo, Otter Creek Polonium 556.
I can recommend all the cans I've bought, except for the 300 Harvester (discontinued). It's not a bad can, but it didn't meet my needs. It was my first can and instead of doing my own research, I trusted the dealers Pew Science is your friend. I mainly shoot bolt actions so my recs may not apply to AR's.

Not flaming, but I'm curious why some think he should be a 6.5 can for the 6.5 PRC. Why not just by a 30 cal can? My Polonium 556 actually has a 6mm bore, but I've only shot it on 22, 20 and 17 caliber guns.

I used to use my 30 cal Hyperion K for them but that’s been on my 6.8 Spc thermal hog setup. Wanted to keep that Hyperion K on that and use the B&T for a second thermal hog setup.

I’ve really nothing to add except all the people that said “you won’t get just one can” were absolutely right. I picked up a 30 cal can and am already shopping for a second one. And I have a .22 can reserved for Jan 2

I have a couple of Scythe Ti for .30 caliber and a Dead Air Mask for .22 and both are great for my usage.

Yea I got my first one to put on my 6.5 Creedmoor. Now I need a larger one for my 35 Whelen. But in the same point of wanting one for a .22 also.

They just make shooting so much better.

Dude it’s bad. I would have bought a couple this weekend but figured it would be dumb to pay for the tax stamp when they will be free in 35 days.

For your .22 I have a rugged oculus and q el Camino. I’d happily recommend either. They’re great cans and the oculus is modular and can use it in a short configuration.

Specter Cat makes a great can though I don’t have experience with any of their rimfire cans.
Thunder Beast makes a great can as well.
One thing I will say is to do not buy a rimfire can with aluminum in it. Baffles especially. Cleaning them sucks.

I went with a 30 cal first then went with a primal because I figured I would get some sort of a threaded .45 pistol. Don’t have a threaded .45 yet so I’m sure I’ll be looking for a more dedicated smaller can for a .45 pistol once I get one. The primal will work but it’s pretty big.
