anyone purchased live sacks yet? going to need 2 or 3 sacks Thurs/Fri for pre wedding festivities for conundrum. Can be picked up pretty much anywhere in South LA as we have people coming from MS, NOLA, and Houston.

Yea it was lower than that. That cold snap a couple weeks back hit em but it's picking up again.

I'm seeing around $4/# in NWLA at the higher priced places, so I'm assuming SLA will be anywhere from $3-$3.50 at the markets, cheaper wholesale.

I bought 6 crawfish traps and set them overnight in Bayou Manchac last weekend and caught a couple sacks. Used some old catfish heads. At about $30.00 a trap it was about 2.25/lb for me.

We're catching that much on a hundred'ish regular rice field traps. So if you're catching that, id start doing it full time man
