Install the Crawfish App on your phone. It will tell you price and closest place near you live and boiled.

Yep, Crawfish App can be your friend here, and I’d suggest you call ahead and reserve them.

I saw something today that the gf wants to go to about a crawfish festival in Houston coming up in a few weeks that is being catered by Southern Standard... I have no idea if you can buy from them on not, but seems like you can.

For the record im very cautious about eating crawfish outside of LA

You can pretty much rest assure that the crawfish will be from Louisiana, but the cooking that’s a whole another ball game.

Reminds me of some meetings I used to attend in College Station were crawfish were boiled for the evening social - poor Texans didn’t have clue - didn’t want to offend the hosts by telling the right way to boil them but the othersTexans in attendance ate them up. That’s been a while back so I think - hope - they’ve gotten better.

Facebook search "The Crawfish Chick" or Hannah Coffee, give her a text. She usually has a drop off point in Houston/Katy on Fridays or Saturdays.

Check out Crawfish Nick Seafood or Swamp Donkey Crawfish. Both are stand up guys and have some of the best prices in Houston.

I figured that would be the case but I am more cautious about the method They are using some local spice company who is known for his bbq seasoning and just recently got into the crawfish game... I can only imagine what it would be like

Crawfish Shack in Crosby, Tx is very worth the drive. The sacks are fairly priced and the best quality I have found.

Word of caution. Texted her that I was interested in a sack for this weekend in Katy. I was given another number to get in touch with in Katy. Texted the fellow, gave him an hour to respond. Never heard from him. Texted her that he hadn’t heard from him in a hour and I would find some somewhere else. I guess she got triggered, she is too busy as it’s super bowl weekend. Told me to buy them elsewhere, which I will.
