fair enough, but the very term "knock offs" implies a lower quality product.
what possible reason can we surmise from your question then that its from someone asking for this to save money, since "knock off" brands by their very nature are lesser quality then name brands?
you didnt ask for other name brands, you asked for "knock offs" and thats a very different question

I just respooled my electrics with daiwa j braid for bottom fishing, so far, so good, and it was way cheaper than bulk power pro, Jerry Brown, suffix, etc.

I like PP and know of several good fish I would not have landed without it...I will try some of the PP super slick when I get a chance...I like the way PP cuts through vegetation when I'm hooked up...

Power Pro and Suffix 832 are the only 2 brands I've ever tried. I stick with Power Pro cause it's readily available and decently priced at the Walmart right next to where I work.

I have brown Kastking Fortis on 2 spinning reels, Kastking Superkast 9 on 2 baitcasters and cheapo Hercules yellow on a spinning reel. Fortis seems strong and works well. Superkast 9 is very slick and wind knots work out easier than Powerpro. Haven't got a chance to use the Hercules.
The 2 Kastking braids I mentioned are fairly inexpensive try one and draw your own conclusion.
Good Luck.

PP Super Slick. Much quieter than regular PP. I love it. Not cheap but it lasts.

Not a "knockoff" but Berkley Professional braid. I like PP also but you get a knot in PP and your done. The Berkley stuff is super slick and I can get most knots out when they happen.

I needed some new line, glad I saw this thread. Just ordered some of the KastKing Superkast9 to try.

Cabelas ripcord is pretty good these days. It used to be bad about unraveling but they seem to have fixed it.

There is some lower quality line out there.
But just like the coolers if you find a good seller then its the same product construction just with a different sticker on the spool.
For my offshore gear I usually run name brand but when it comes to inshore the breaking strength has never been an issue unless you get the junk spool.
But I have had junk spools of power pro.

I have some of the EBay stuff, I was buying the 1000 round spools for grouper and snapper rods and decided to try some 20 lb for inshore. Works great, especially for the price. Something like $32 for 1000 yards I think. I can't remember. Very good especially for the money.

Power Pro 50-lb braid is my go to. That pole will break before that string will.

Kast King is good stuff.
