good lord, you dont use braid if the cost bothers you
mono is very cheap and works just fine, no one "needs" braid, its a luxury item

thanks for a quality contribution
- Cost isnt an issue. Ive been using PP for years all on my reels. If someone cant afford braid over another string then they should be at work, not fishing
- i like braid. Want to try something different.
Move along

I started with braided using Spider Wire but that shite was expensive. Once I got introduced to Power Pro, I've stuck with PP ever since.

Bunch of cheap Chinese knockoffs on eBay. Never used them, so I don't know how good they are.

I’ve looked at bullbuster but never used it

Kast king has pretty good reviews on amazon. Heck, give it a shot.

dont use Bass Pro brand. Its flat cross section for some reason and sticks/binds on itself when using baitcaster

Power Pro is made in the USA. Buy local.

I use PP super slick now. Love it.

I like my PP and haven't had any issues with it. Just wondering if I'm missing out on any under the radar brands

there is nothing to "assume" you came right out and said it yourself

not a knockoff brand I guess but Sufix 832 is the best line I have ever used. Has never broken on me.

I use Daiwa brand braided line and it does fine.

No I didn't. Only asked if there were any quality knock offs since I haven't looked outside of PP in 5 years. I never mentioned affordability.
