I love these threads where everyone comes and white knights for a damn rat snake. I wouldn't bother one outside, but once it's in the house it dies. I don't need a snake around inside my house messing with kids or dogs.

I found a small garter snake a few weeks ago in my bedroom curled up in some clothes that were left on the floor. I went to pick up a tshirt and it fell out. Scared the frick out of me

Got a black rat snake out of my in laws house last weekend. I saw it before anyone else did and ran out the door with the broom. I hat a had a juvenile gray rat snake in my office a few weeks ago that I released into the woods outside the office. Luckily no one was there or else the accounting ladies would have burned the place to the ground
