I'm in Pine also. However know of two nice bucks killed in St. Tammany in the last two days. I think the next 10-14 days will be prime time. Esp after the cold front passes after Christmas.

On a T shaped trail two sides are filled with rye grass and the other a deer feeder. Tied around bush branches some ripped small rag dipped with tink's 69.
On the camera, Caught a small button buck sniffing on a nanny and then on the next clip he tries to hump her with his little pecker out. He almost got it in just needed 2 more feet to reach the hole.

Sea Pickle, if you can get up between now and new years I think it would be worth it. Nothing wrong with antler management in Washington Parish but it's very difficult as about 90% of hunters are if it's brown it's down. I'd shoot a decent 6 in a heartbeat around here.

I've heard that too but I don't see many bucks so I'm tying to up that percentage. it bothers me that I'm probably wasting time letting them walk though because my property does connect to multiple other of the same woods
I'm in the stand now until tomorrow but I'll probably be back Wednesday

We were at Giles Island.
I was in a ground blind off the road.
