The past two days my 9 year old step son has bet me $20 each day that wouldn't kill a deer. I was seeing at least something every hunt but haven't seen anything since then and he is making a killing off me.

Deer everywhere this evening and this morning.I bet I saw a 100 between Liberty and Clinton this morning.I hit a small doe just north of Liberty with my truck this evening.It must be on because I have never seen this much activity.Off tomorrow...gonna try to kill one with something other than a bumper.

So hunting the whole day tomorrow, what do yal think with all the rain we will be getting? Will start the day in a box over looking our fields. Thinking of switching to the woods mid day. Also if the rut has started it is just starting, thinking of giving the tinks and bleat call a rest. Should I switch it up and use buck piss?

I got him. 155# 8pt. Typical swamp deer, not near as big as he should've been, but a trophy to me though coming out of that swamp.
