Hatton’s garlic sausage in a Kings Hawaiian roll heated up on a buddy heater with coffee from my Papaw’s coffee bottle alongside my son might be about as good as it gets.

Doe down. About to see if the gym translates to the outdoors. Going to have to drag in and out of the creek.

Horns next

Saw 2 large deer this morning. I believe both had 10 points, but possible one had nine.

Full on rut here. Saw both for maybe 30 secs as they were in full pussy chase mode.

I will definitely be feeling the workout I had today. Wasn’t terrible but was a big arse doe and having to go in and out a 8-10 ft creek was no joke. Luckily it was dry and where I went in/out had some small switchbacks that made it a little easier.

Back at it in a new spot tonight. Two huge office chairs in a large box stand overlooking a planted food plot, lazy boy hunting

Already bumped two bucks in the field as I was coming in. Hopefully they weren’t too spooked
