Passes off the river. Freshwater stays on top and saltwater below it.

It’s spooky how quiet it is out here this morning. Very little wind and very little movement as I’ve only heard one shot this morning. And only heard one yesterday

Thick thick, can only shoot about 25 yards tops.
Saddle in a cedar tree. Starting to like the saddle.

Had a small 6 point and a button buck come by a little bit ago. Swamp chestnut oak sounds like it's raining acorns.

Saw a doe n two fawns yesterday evening. Nothing this morning. Slow season so far. Hope the rain we got yesterday will get the food plots up. Its already dried up.

Well I’ll be damned. There are deer out here. Just had 2 littles come by. Walked right at me and actually ate some of the brush under my stand. Of course while they were under there I was holding back a fart I knew wasn’t going to be silent.

Y'all are getting me excited for next week. Today's report from the kitchen: home with a sick one, wife called on the way to church with the others that someone hit a 6-point and it was on the side of the road. If last night had been in the 20s-30s...maybe. But nah.

Had a doe with 3 fawns come out a few minutes ago. They didn’t stick around long. Yesterday I drank about 30 Natty Lights and had beans for supper…pretty sure they winded me.

Saw nothing this morning. Moved my camera to a new location where I saw some bed marks along a creek bottom I think they are using to access the property under cover. Everything moving from 8pm-12am.
