People are stockpiling because obviously the government is coming for our weapons.
No, I stockpile so I don't end up like ol' Boats. I can shoot when I want and don't have to depend on a 3rd party to supply me on those particular days.

We still have a few 550 round bricks that we bought for $8-10 per brick. Those were the days

Tinfoil hatters and gun tards are always bitching about some US government conspiracy causing a shortage but its just people hoarding and panic buying + driven by demand.

Thank you for letting us know, early, that you have nothing meaningful to say on subjects such as this.

quote:22 seems to be stockpiled regularly because it is so cheap. I dont blame the ppl. Its only getting more expensive and harder to find
Question: Are people still stockpiling ammo regularly or is that finally over?

When are the manufacturers gonna ramp up production?
Posted on 9/4/14 at 9:22 pm to TigerTatorTots
My email has blown up today with slickguns .22 alerts. My threshold is .05/round.
Posted on 9/4/14 at 10:25 pm to bamarep
Yep, cause folks are buying TEN times what they actually need,
ONE MNF. PRODUCES 17 million rounds per day and it is still scarce.
They thing is the quality is going down at that same time.
Get used to it??

You missed my at the bottom of the post
I really do think though that long term it's either gonna slowly get back to the way it was before. Either by people stockpiling less, or manufacterers seeing that sales aren't dropping and investing in more space/equipment to churn out more of everything. Which one depends on how long the paranoia lasts I suppose.
