Yep. It's just as close or closer for the most part to anywhere I'd go fish when I lived back home, little further from my hunting, and it's not in the middle of nowhere and there's always shite to do here. Not sure I could stay here long term though, at some point I'm gonna want space (house yard garage) and that shite ain't cheap here

Grew up in morgan city... 1hr from inshore fishing and duck hunting---dularge....

Now i live in marksville and im 10min from some of the biggest deer to ever to be takin in the state... Some decent duck hunting, kinda have to know somebody...and 2.5 hrs from inshore fishing. Its a good mix for me.

They have that little roadside stand in Ferriday that sells the goo and gar... and the black and gold car wash with the pitt bull airbrushed on the side of the building...
