Busted my tail deadly-like on wet garage floor.

Saw a baw spray truck bed liner on sole.

Any other ideas?

Get a Dremel tool and carve out some mud grips on the bottom.

These are not the same as your typical Crocs, but it may work for you.

And I almost killed myself in the kitchen once when someone spilled some water and didn’t clean it up. I understand.

Spray some Flex Seal on them and they’ll last forever.

Do a lil Google machine search; they have Croc's with rubber inserts on the soles for better slip resistance.

Get some Hey Dude slip ons. More comfortable than crocs and you won’t bust your arse every time you step on water.

I see.

What adhesive would you use to put the sole on?

Lots of different colors and styles to choose from. 24 this morning and I was wearing them on a job and didn’t get cold feet.

Yup! There's a reason why companies/industries require "closed shoes". It's not to be a dick, its a safety issue. You wanna hurt yourself at home just so you can be lazy putting shoes on, you take that risk.
