I have never been a Polaris fan but after window shopping for the last 4 or 5 years I finally broke down and bought one. It’s going to make working around the ranch a little easier than piling everything onto my 4 wheeler.

Sweet, those tires have a tread pattern like a truck mud tire, i like em how they’re flatter on the rear.

Needs 2 feet of lift, bigger tires, speaker bar, and at least three 48" LED light bars to get the entry level "Baw Approved" rating.

You will enjoy!
I had an 08 Ranger XP......buddy still rocking it. I went back to a Yamaha when the Viking came out, because of the size.
The Ranger was a fine machine, but I don't like the lack of engine braking, and the clutch system will "kick out" when going down hill. The AWD drive system is kinda wonky...it locks in when the back wheels spin, and the cage in the differential is another weak point.
Just be aware of those things, and you shouldn't have any problems.

Watch the gate on that trailer. That ranger will blow that thin mesh out.
Otherwise, good ride. Keep it clean and greased.

Those new 1000’s are beefed up a good bit and should hold up to ranch work better then older models. For work I usually like kubota but that 1000 should handle it fine

What that run you, baw? I have no idea about sxs’s and my wife’s uncle has a basic gator. I priced it used and it’s $8k! What could I get to putt putt around 2 acres for ~$3k?

$15,337. It’s going to be used in Texas for hunting and farm work.

man that’s a really nice rig and I am honestly just throwing this out there for discussion...for 15 large you could get a Jeep Wrangler with AC and heat. or a ranger/Tacoma/similar
what’s the Polaris bring to the table that a truck doesn’t?

Just a guess:
easier to tow
fits in tighter spots
better in mud
