That's completely dependent upon the level of revenge. When it gets serious, it's just stacking more problems on the pile. Not worth it. Those who think it is have likely never been there. It's generally just an adolescent fantasy. Not saying some 'get back' isn't great. But there's levels.
Interesting thread. I know how it feels to lose your childhood place where all those memories happened. You won't like it, but you should stop worrying about things you can't control. God's will and the like, right?
Let it go. Move on. It's your turn to find a way to make a place for those kinds of memories for your family. They probably won't have it forever either, but the memories remain.

If you don't forgive them, all they are doing is occupying space in your mind and that space is full of bad feelings. IF you forgive them, it gives you the power to eliminate their negative influence on your life, and move in a more positive direction

What is the price that she is getting? Sabotage the sale tell her he is taking advantage of her he's not paying half of what the land is worth. Plus inform her of inheritance taxes all the money will be gone in taxes when she dies.

I got one better than you. My father inherited some lake property, maybe 5 acres. It was adjacent to some people who asked him if they could let their cattle graze on it. He said yes, they were old family friends. Well their son moved into the home place after they died. Since they fenced it in and took care of the property for over 20 years , the son filed papers to own the property out right, with no compensation. Some kinda of law in La. that says if you take care of property for so long, you can file to own it. Even though you don't pay property taxes on it. My father who was the DA for many years died 25 years ago , and would have squashed this bullshite. My mother tried in vain but to no avail, and the sorry sob got the property without paying a dime.

Have you talked to your uncle about it? The land is obviously still in the family. Maybe he would sell part of it to you later.
