Curious to see what y’all use for your hunting knives?

Also if anybody has any experience with Winkler Knives

I use the Puma Game Warden as my general carry on the hip while hunting.

I have a couple of fixed blade Benchmade that I really like

Winkler knives are very nice but come with a big price tag.

Benchmade for the most part and of course a buck 119.

Benchmades I’ve been using lately are:
Meatcrafter
Hidden Canyon Hunter
Crooked River

I have fixed blade benchmade I ordered off of the first lite sight about 5 years ago (based off a quick internet search I think its an altitude), a bugout, and meatcrafter. Like them all.

Going to check out the Puma and Falkniven. Not a huge fan of Benchmade. A winkler is pricey but so tempting

I was given a Benchmade Hidden Canyon in s90v last year. I cleaned 3 deer with it and it'll still take hair off my arm.

I use my Benchmade 940 that I carry every day.

No need for a special knife.

I’ve never owned a knife that was scary sharp before. This knife is scary sharp. The first time I used it I sliced the tip of my finger detailing a duck breast and I didn’t even know it until I saw the blood.

Condor blade blank - Kephart
I have finished these and made custom sheaths for them, but actually prefer to repurpose butcher knives with this blade style.

REMINGTON KNIFE SET

I have more expensive knives, but I keep this little set in my backpack and its always my go to for processing a deer.
I just like the simplicity, easy to clean afterwards, like the big holes to let me hang em on the spreader when I need to use my hands, etc.

the blades sharpen easy and hold plenty edge to get it done, the skinning hook works good too.

you dont need anything fancy and expensive if you know what you are doing.
