re: How quiet is a .223 with a suppressor on it?

You want to shoot coons and other critters around your house w/o alarming neighbors 3/4 miles away. Sounds like that's a perfect job for a non-suppressed 22LR, preferably w/ a can and subsonic ammo (or CCI "standard velocity") or possibly a 22LR using subsonic. If you're not yet sure whether you want to go the route of buying a can (due to expense, paper work and waiting), you can first try a 22LR using CCI "Quiet 22.". The "Quiet 22" runs only 710 fps and is designed to be quiet. The bullet is round nose, not hollow point, but shouldn't be a problem w/ a head or chest shot. Drive 3/4 mi away from your house, have someone at your house shoot a 22LR w/ the ammo you're testing and see how loud it is. At 3/4 mi away, even a non-suppressed 22LR w/ subsonic ammo should not be very loud.
, If you use "Quiet 22" you'll need to have the gun sighted in just for that ammo since the vertical drop is signifiant compared to even the usual subsonic ammo.

A dedicated .223/5.56 for shooting subs isn't worth it IMO. Cost of everything to only have a "quiet .223". A nice air rifle would be better. Isn't their a few air rifles that tout a "quiet" shot in their advertising?

You know what I find makes a great gun to dispatch critters with at night?
1911 .45 with +p buffalo bore. 1200 fps.
Neighbors still don't say anything

.223 is roughly 3000 FPS and in order to not break the sound barrier and make the sonic boom crack sound you need to be under 1100 FPS. So while a suppressor can limit the decibels, it won’t take away the sonic boom crack.
That’s why a .223 doesn’t make any sense and that’s why the 300 blackout with heavy bullets that go under 1100 fps is better.

I agree with this. Shooting subs out of 22LR, especially a bolt gun, are very quiet without the can

I want like you see on tv when the mobster shoots the guy in the head with a .45 and it sounds like a 6 month old sneezing.

What?
Is there a subsonic .223/5.56 that I'm unaware?

Looking to get something to shoot coons and other critters around the house without making too much noise.
Get a .22 suppressor. I have a Surefire Socom 5.56 suppressor and its not really hearing safe when I use it on my SBR. Recommend a Silencerco Spectre II or Sparrow .22 Suppressor.
