Bet ole boy is blasting the perch right there.
Reminds me of a little canal I used to fish by my parents when I was in grade school.

I mainly fish freshwater, I'll take 5 bass setups plus a zebco 33 for sacraperch. So 6.

Baitcast w/ topwater
Baitcast w/ swim bait
Spinning reel w/ cork
Change one of these 3 to carolina rig if they're biting it.

For a normal saltwater day, samesies.
For the GTR tourney next weekend, will have an extra baitcast w/ inline spinner, and an extra spinning reel with a cork (one for live, one for artificial).
ETA: For Toledo Bend this weekend, 3 baitcast (yellow magic, tx rig redbug finess, and orange craw swirl senko), 2 spincast, and 1 spinning reel for white perch.

I'm an inshore saltwater guy.
If I get my choice, 3: topwater, suspending/light jig head, bottom/heavier jig head.
If I'm fishing in someone else's boat, I go with two and just retie as necessary. I'm getting much faster than I used to be, but I attribute some of that to good tackle organization.

6 to 8
What they will be rigged with depends on what time of the year it is.
