Two weekends in a row, never fired once.

If big duck season is going to be like this, I might cry.

according to the paper, SW LA. is the place to be.

You might need to make a road trip.

I skipped the first two weekends because of this. Scouted and fished for over 15 hours and have seen ZERO.

Trying to muster the courage to go the last weekend but i'm struggling

They were flying around Proctor Point last weekend. The baw who leases that area was doing some shooting. I ducked the first time.

My uncle and his friend shot 2 limits on Saturday in Delacroix. He did say it seems to be fewer this year than in the past though

Same. Hoping they'll be down for big duck season.

I don't know either. 6 teal isn't worth sweating my arse off and getting eaten alive by skeeters.

Definitely worth it to me, but by this time of year, I'll get out and do anything to be hunting.

I can second that, but believe it or not with the water a little high in the marsh the bugs are pretty bearable rite now

They were terrible opening weekend, but a little spraydown + the thermacell did the trick.

Haven’t heard any reports specifically from white lake, but I know they are still killing birds around Gueydan and Klondike. I think you will have a good hunt in white lake.

Just remember a bad day hunting is still better than a good day at work.

No lie, I wear shorts in the boat ind and a long sleeve poly t-shirt. Two thermacells and I’m golden.
