Don’t know total numbers but we probably averaged 8-10 ducks a hunt. Never got skunked but the season high was only 15. Mallards and woodies with an occasional Gad. A far cry from the good ole days.

Y’all making me feel a lot better about my season.

I’ve got 3 hunts left and hoping to break 100 birds.

34 hunts 372 birds - this number obviously includes guest that were with me. Large percentage of the birds were ringnecks.

Area: Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma
Hunt #4
Total Ducks: 21
Skunked Hunts: 0

Wigeon: 15
Gadwall: 3
Pintail: 1
Green Wing Teal: 1
Redhead: 1

Overall awesome trip didn't get the green I wanted, but a bunch or Wigeon and variety we shot was awesome. Last trip with my kid for a while. Hopefully won't be the last.

We are close to the 100 bird mark. I haven’t had quite as much time to hunt this year with LSUs Championship run going into January.

Went to north Texas and had a 60 duck day and a 34 goose day as well. Also a few Arkansas weekends with 10 or so a hunt

Made 3 hunts around Christmas in Lake Theriot killed 63 ducks. All ringnecks, redheads, canvasbacks and 1 male pintail (only big duck we saw).

The rest of the season made 13 hunts and killed a grand total of 11 ducks.
1 grey
1 canvasback
2 teal

Drove it the other day, saw about 1/10 of the ducks normally, and no geese.

I used to hunt 20 times a year, the last two years I have hunted three times total.

I cant say I miss it very much.

I had binoculars and still saw the ONE duck.... unreal.. but... I think some changes in land use in that area also dramatically hurting that area too...

I hit rice field with fine mesh scoop net - almost NO feed....

hit one pond of just natural grasses - fair amount of feed....

but the section we looked at had not been hunted since november and to have only one duck was mind boggling...

even at sunset in that area you used to see large large flights of birds.... zero..
