Still haven't held/shot one yet. Are they as nice as they seem to be? Heard plenty of good things about this gun.

Indeed they are. One of a couple polymer guns that melt in my hand (grip feels like it is part of my hand).

Was close to pulling the proverbial trigger on a Glock 17. May need to re-think that after seeing this.

Have the VP9 and the VP40, very sweet, ergonomic guns for a helluva value.

I really didn't like the way these guns looked until I held one. Didn't get to shoot it but I was shocked at how good it felt in my hand.

Chat, thanks for the heads up. Purchased one of these yesterday, the FFL dealer here in LA couldn't believe I got it that cheap.

Have you shot it next to a hammer fired HK?

I had an HK 45C...it was pretty. And expensive. Had the light LEM trigger. I couldn't make it shoot straight. Ended up selling it. I have a buddy with the HKP30 SK and it sits in his safe bc he can't shoot it straight either.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when I bought the VP 9 Tactical (night sights, threaded barrel, 3 mags for $699). One of the easiest shooting guns I've ever shot. It's very ergonomic and easy to point. Very accurate.

While my CCW is still a G19, the VP9 is an outstanding weapon.

I will say that I'm hoping my trigger improves as I shoot it. I don't mind the pull, and the reset is distinct and positive, but there seems to be quite a bit of takeup AFTER the trigger has reset. Opposed to my G19 which, after reset, breaks immediately upon pull.
