I do and it’s my favorite pistol I own that’s not a 1911.

Nice. How's the trigger-pull? I own the Springfield XDS 9mm and it's very light pressured on the trigger compared to past firearms I've shot.

I like it better than my M&P, M&P2.0, and Beretta Apex.

Yeah it’s nice. I really like the two tone options they have.

H&K rep was at a LGS this weekend and some nice sales... but that mag release just throws me off.

Great gun. I also have a XDS and a XD Mod2. The Mod 2 is an improvement over the XDS, and the VP9 is hands down better than either. I personally like the paddle mag releases.

Don't make the mistake I made. Go ahead & spend the extra money and buy the LEO model if you buy one. The night sights and extra magazine are a bargain.

My fiancee has one and it is usually a favorite among shooters at my concealed carry classes. For people with small hands it's especially favored since the grip is nice and slim and has a good taper to it.

If you want a detailed look at the gun, here's my comparison of it to the Walther PPQ, another quality option in the same size category:

Should I start a thread for full size handgun recs or is there an old thread you can link or bump?

I went through your YouTube vids but didn't see one.

I've never had a paddle mag release. Is it hard to get used to?

ditto

I know zero about pistols, but I bought the VP9 a few weeks back. I was expecting to hate shooting a pistol, I was wrong because I really enjoyed it. As a newbie I shot about 2 inch groups at 5 yards, and probably kept 90% of shots in a pie plate at 15 steps. I have a lot of work to do on acquiring my sight picture.

I have big hands, but they are thick. I liked the grip for the same reason. I dont want a big bulky grip. If I had long slender hands, I may.

You get used to it very fast. I drop my trigger finger instead of using my thumb
