Love the p365 from what every former special operations guy says. Don't even want the xl or optic. Just bare bones.

Handled both of them. Both feel great I the hand. Both the exact right size.

But Hellcat I can find locally for $525 and the Sig is $630. Hellcat also holds more rounds w/O a huge extension and has a safety trigger, which the sig does not.

Anybody whose shot both, is there a significant accuracy diffenrce between the two?

I like the Hellcat better but haven't shot one, only handled.

I don't understand your question about accuracy. I have yet to run into a quality modern production pistol that isn't capable of mechanical accuracy beyond the prowess of virtually all shooters.

The only reason I ask is because I have heard rave things about the Sigs accuracy but also seen videos where the shooter says the hellcat is too snappy, thus affecting accuracy.

Yes, it's cutting hairs I'm sure, but its also something to think about

Both were on my shortlist when I was shopping for an CC. After way too much research and several trips to the range, I ended up getting the p365. It was less snappy, felt lighter and thinner, and with the 12+1 mag it fit my hand best.

You just need to find a range that has both and shoot them for yourself.

I'm convinced the 365 is the better gun by a smidge, but is it $100+ better??? Especially for a CC gun? Don't know.

I went with the 365 because I liked the trigger better.

I have a P365 and I've shot the Hellcat. They're really similar. If you want a frame safety the Sig is your gun. I seem to shoot the Sig marginally better but that's probably me and not the pistol. I think I just prefer the mushy Sig trigger over the mushy Springfield trigger.

This is the gun you're most likely to use. Saving $100 here seems silly to me but I guess at the moment that's like 40 rounds of self defense ammo.

Never messed with the p365 but I do own a hellcat and I love it. It’s really accurate and I don’t find it to be too snappy. I didn’t really care for the factory trigger so I put an apex trigger in it.

I've recently purchased a Hellcat, and have put nearly 50 rounds through it. Don't find it to be too snappy, but I definitely shot it better the first time at the range than the second.

Just use what you popped Oswald with. You seemed to conceal that pretty well until the right moment.

Have you handled the VP9sk? It’s a bit bigger, but it may be way more comfortable to practice with.

You may want to hold off until Cabela's has their Christmas sale. I bought me and the wife(no pics) a P356 last year for $450 each. The P365(black body and stainless slide) was $100 off, and if you see it, go THAT day. They went fast.

Shot both recently. Like the hellcats feel better, but the sig handled better and shot better. But I’m partial to sig as my favorite shot gun is a Sauer

Shot both, bought the Hellcat OSP.

I haven't put an optic on it, but I have no optic-ready pistols so I figured what the hell.

As always, I think it comes down to proficiency. I was more proficient with the Springfield than the Sig so I went that direction.

I have both. Actually the p365 is my wifes(no pics) gun. I love them both but I don't care for the zero profile sights on the sig for low light conditions. I don't find the hellcat to be too snappy. They both shoot very nicely. If I had to choose between the 2, I'd probably go hellcat.

I bought both in February of this year and like the Sig better. Price was almost exactly the opposite in my area though. I paid $530 for the Sig and $600 for the Hellcat. Both are great, but that trigger on the Sig is probably the best stock trigger I've ever felt on any popular striker fired pistol imo.

I love the Hellcat. Shoots a bit high but nothing crazy. I shot everything from hot 115 to +p 147 and didn't find either one too sanppy. The fit and feel in the hand is great. Liked it More than the Sig especiallywhen it came to the sights. But that's just personal preference.

P365 for $539.....I got one earlier this year for $480

Europtic is actually one of the more reasonably priced places for a 365 right now. I found a Hellcat a few days ago for around $490. Almost pulled the trigger on it, hesitated, went back that evening and the stock was all gone..

One of the dumber firearms move I've made in a while considering cheapest Hellcat I can find now is about $525.
