If you're slick enough to draw on a thunder chicken from a tree stand and not get busted, you're slick enough.

Killed a couple with my bow back when it was legal in Arkansas. They closed fall turkey season around 3 years ago.

I did in Texas, but it was legal and I had a tag for it. Clean shot through the neck with a .270

I never have, but I had a hen land on a branch about 3 feet above me right at daylight once. It's one of those hunting moments I'll never forget.

I've also dropped potato chips out the window of a box stand to feed them.

They're so dumb during deer season and then they disappear.

I for one wish they'd end the Fall season here in FL. The turkey hunting would be better and safer if the FWC dropped the Fall hunt and finally banned rifles for turkey hunting.
