Saw on a cartoon.
While coyote took a Kentwood jug cap. Drilled two small holes. Ran two 300ish ft wires into it. Joined wires with much smaller piece of copper.
5 gallon Kentwood jug with 3 gallons of concrete in it.
Filled rest with oxy acetylene mix. Capped.
Sank to brush pile.
Got back 300ft. Touched wires to battery.
Was unprepared for tidal wave.
Sank his boat.

Take the video to the cops and get a TRO and have it served. I live on an East Texas lake and share my numerous brush piles with any fisherman. In fact I've told some where they are. And I worked my arse off to put them out there. It is not easy ands brush piles and the concrete they are set in can mess up a boat bad. So please be happy if you find them and appreciate that somebody took the effort to put them out there.
But the lake is not his so the brush piles aren't his either. It's easy to tell someone the brush piles are yours because you put them out there. Well, where's the proof?
And I've seen insanity in fishermen as one night a disabled fisherman I gave permission to fish my dock under my lights almost got in a real fight with a hot tempered crappie fisherman who was pretty intense. I told the hothead whom I seen around my dock and talked to on multiple occasions I'd shut the lights down so nobody could fish them.
Bottom line, take the video to a game warden and let them know. In Texas game wardens carry the same stroke as state police.
I have put out several 1000 watt green fishing lights around my dock. These things are often getting busted by fishermen who want to fish right on the bulb. I just sigh and make up another and put them out. I make all my light systems and they ain't cheap.

I'm not a big fan of a moron thinking public land is private. But, I also am a fan of living and people are psycho.
If you don't want to get shot, or have to shoot someone if you decide to carry, just go fish somewhere else. It isn't worth it.

I agree 100%, but OP lives on the lake and it sounds like its not a huge lake.
Which is more a reason not to frick with the guy too much, but also its not easy to just go fish elsewhere.

I've seen the show with the Texas Game Wardens. Although I'm sure much is dramatized, I'm glad MS Wardens are that zealous (and are much less numerous).

For me I always have several other options in brush. I mean if brush seems to be a big time fish magnets, then go build some magnets. I can put a new brush pile out and have fish on it the next day. But anyway, I've seen some pretty upset fishermen. I've had people fish around my dock when I am down there. Most are forthcoming and will talk fishing. But I've come up against a few fishing "my brush" around "my dock" and I ask them what they are catching and on what lure, and they are silent. What's up with that?

Did Wiley Coyote fill the bottle with an oxy/acyl mix like when preheating steel to prepare for the cut or more oxygen-rich mix like when actually cutting steel?

I suspect that lunatic is prepared to kill or die over those brush piles.
Just put out some brush of your own and stay clear of that freak.

Yeah, its an oxbow lake with zero vegetaion/natural cover so all the fish are either around docks or on brush piles. You have to fish "someone's" property regardless of where you fish.
This is honestly my stance on it at this point. If I pass thru the flats and don't see him I'll likely fish them as I head to my spots. If he pulls up on me again I'll just tell him to relax and fish the other stuff in the area. But I likely will tell him that he's lucky LDWF hadn't been contacted regarding his behavior over some public water.

big time fisherman here....I would fish the hell out of those spots and tell you to frick off.
If it's public, it's exactly that.....motherfricking public.
If I want something kept a secret. I keep it to myself but won't get mad if someone figures it out. It's public.

The guy you talking about is a very good person. You are not telling the complete story. When he suggested you build your own brush piles your smart arse answer was. Why should I when I can fish yours. You poured gas on the fire! You live on the lake therefore you have better and easier opportunity to build your own. The lake is 10 miles long and has over 1100 piers. If it wasn’t for the hard work of others would you be fishing this small area? Hell No. Several of us build brush piles. Yes, we can fish each others piles but we don’t. It’s called RESPECT. Evidently you don’t have any. You say you need to put up cameras and that you fear for your family. You must enjoy the harassment you claim because you continue to piss him off. You started this conversation wanting opinions and answers. It very simple. 1st Grade level answer. Build your own and stop fishing everyone else’s. Problem Solved
