I have lived on that lake for over 50 years. Have seen some great fishing, terrible fishing and now its going in a better direction compared to where it was. Crappy politics and old families with money is what destroyed the lake.

But with local boys doing the high school fishing and people wanting to better the lake for fishing and not just boating an skiing, hopefully it keeps going in the right direction.

Nobody is asking for a full summary. Maybe you should go back and read the question. It is not hard.

Not to get involved in this pissing matching, but you've wasted more time asking people to skim through a thread and find you info than it would have just taken you to do it yourself.

I already did but It was a simple question. There was no need for him to be a dick. Or you can just ignore the question or answer it correctly.

what is the location then?

False river, flats?

Any GPS coordinates. Make it easy man.

My reading comprehension is fine. You were asking for a summary of the information posted in the thread. Go find it yourself.

I was just informed of who the guy is you and Bbuoy are talking about. He does this crap all over the lake not just you. If he is fishing a bank the whole mfer is his as far as he can see kinda guy. He is just an a-hole that majority of folks are nice too just to get him to go away. He always has something negative to say about everything, super confrontational type, so this is in no way shocking or unbelievable. He pulled this on a couple high school aged kids last year(probably same brush pile) and it didn't go well ask him about it. He got that knock on the door and sang a different tune.

On a second note I also believe we all know the brush pile in question, and it freshened up by everyone not just him. My Friend just dropped 11 christmas trees on it 4 weeks ago.

Can you fish tops put out by another person? Of course.
I have my rules of etiquette and I just do not do it

Just a question: So, if you are trolling along and happen to see a brush pile/top, do you then immediately move to another area? Do you only fish your tops out of the whole lake?

I grew up in the Pointe Coupee area in the early 80's and my pawpaw lived on the island side. I can remember him and his brother scooping grass shrimp for bait in the grasses around his pier. The water was so clear. It'll never be the way it once was.

Yup those were the days.
Redneck grandfather had a place on False River in the 60’s and then moved to Old River in the 70’s.

Louisiana Traveler, 50 Hp Mercury, metal igloo ice chest, and plastic thing over the trollmotor to protect the blade from grass.

Similar to worm pouring and drinking beer before fishing back in the day.
Take ripped worms and remelt to pour before you next trip.

Those were the days until.

Love those old ads, I'm always on the lookout for the old-school Red Man Tournament trail memorabilia(I know their trophies were spittoons at one point)
