Well, it would fit great in most pockets without a holster, but I don't recommend doing that!

You can buy great pocket holsters for the HC that do the job. I switch between pocket holster carry and iwb hoslster at 3 o'clock. It depends on what I'm wearing.

Pocket holster: Blackhawk techgrip size 4

Iwb holster: Birchwood Honeycomb holster size 10.

Both are incredibly comfortable and work well!

Don't do this w/ any gun. The holster will protect not only the trigger (get a holster that completely covers the trigger), but will also protect foreign objects (coins, fingernail clippers, Chap-stick, etc.) from interfering w/ the gun.

How the hell you CC a 1911?

I carry outside the pants at 4 o'clock. I have a shirt or suit jacket draped over it. I am quite comfortable carrying a full size 1911 this way or sometimes in a shoulder holster.

And I am sorta fat....

I'm not a big dude, and therefore do not have mega-pockets. I don't care what kinda gun you have it's always too heavy for a pocket for me personally. That said, I'd argue the g43 would do well in a robust pocket by comparison to many. It doesn't have the double wide stack grip. It's a single stack grip, and the whole thing feels proper slim without it being a woman's gun.

I am a big fan of IWB kydex.

I agree that the G43 does well in a pocket holster, but the Hellcat is even smaller (length and width). I've had both in my pocket, and the HC feels better to me....and it has more rounds.

Any comments on this one, would you recommend? Was considering scooping up the regular tac. Bass pro has this one with a red dot and extended magazine.

I want a Hellcat. Report back on how you like it.

But unfortunately I've got about 5k of ahit ahead of that that I'm trying to sneak by the wife. So it might be a bit before I get to another handgun.

Definitely report back after you go shootin', baw! I was shocked how accurate I was with such a small handgun.
