I have a Cannon from TS and I love it. Especially the warranty/guarantee on the battery operated lock. Nutshell: if it messes up, and the manufacturer can't walk you through opening it over the phone, they will come to your house, free of charge, to open/fix it. Is it a Liberty safe? No. Is it the best? Probably not. But it's sufficient in deterring baddies. It's sufficient in protecting from fires too, imo.

My buddy has a Browning. Someone broke in his house a couple weeks ago and took a sledgehammer to it. They knocked the key pad off, dented it, but couldn’t get in. Browning told him if the insurance does not replace it they will send him a new one.

I have a cannon .... their warranty is hard to beat. After the 2016 flood I contacted them thinking there’s no way that they would replace my safe. Not only did they replace it, the model I had was discontinued so they sent me a nicer safe as a replacement at no cost

I have typed out my response many times.
It is very similar to Glock17's.

My dad had a Cannon and they treated him right. I had a Liberty and they said pound sand. Mike Wards went above and beyond for me though and made it right. I will support them for a long time because of it.

Picked up the 64 gun cannon from academy this past weekend. $400 off the reg price. It was the widest I could fit in the area in my office. My biggest need was keeping my little girls away from the guns.

I have Champion that I’ve been happy with. Cost a little more than Cannon.

Very well built....like a fricken tank. I looked at others and IMO this is a much better built safe for the money. Has everything I need and fit my budget.

Really depends on what you are trying to protect. The big box stores don't offer much security or fire protection. Mike Wards had the Liberty Colonial 50 on sale for $1699 this past weekend. I have this safe and its around 1000 lbs empty. The Canon 40 sold at Tractor supply isn't even 500lbs.

The locking mechs and fire rating is better on s a safe like a Colonial. The big box stores are basically just sheet metal with some fireproof fiberboard insulation.
