If I were the kids father or mentor, I would've advised him not to go public with the video. It will be difficult to live down the cowering at the end of the vid. Just take it to the police and let them deal with it.

It was obvious he was unarmed.
Again, the 22 year old man didn't do a single thing to diffuse the situation then acted like a complete coward. He was the little lap dog yapping at the bigger dog and the bigger dog in this case attacked sending the fu fu dog into a meltdown. It was the definition of what not to do if you are scared for your life. You don't tough talk a person you see as a threat to your safety. That is just stupid. This whole thing is a lesson on what not to do all the way around.
This situation wasn't unique. Apparently we have all grown up in different worlds. Lastly, the 22 year old man wasn't in an expensive boat.

I only saw the video once... psycho had clothes on, so it is not obvious he would be unarmed.
Also, you have a single boat with a 22yr old... vs a boat with three or four more adult men, one of which was absolutely unhinged. The 22yr old couldn't safely assume the actions of psycho's buddies if he had taken a more aggressive role in his defense of self.
