Yes. Not Christmas Day, but I remember being checked duck hunting on Thanksgiving Day. Game Wardens are law enforcement, they always have people on duty.

December 25 is a day to celebrate our Lord and Savior's birthday. Not a day to commit criminal activities.

He was a guest speaker at one of my Criminal Justice classes at SELA back in the early 90’s. Dude would sit out in the marsh for days trying to catch law breakers. He was dedicated at his craft.

Late 80's through the 90's, I used to hunt in around Monroe in Richland Parish in those rice fields. I never saw it, but Kash would lay out in the mud watching what was shot. Back when the limit was 3 birds, this group of 5 guys had shot 11 ducks. The next bird that came by, all 5 jumped up and shot and missed. Kash walks up and told them to pick out the birds that each guy shot. Then gives the guy stuck with 3 birds a ticket for trying to shoot over his limit. I don't know if he loved his job or loved being an arse.

That's funny as hell either way. No team limits.
