Got a new toy today

No it's not a big black dildo or a Barbi Jeep.
I was thinking about getting a Savage MKII-TR, but after reading the reviews on this bad boy, it seemed to be the best one on the market. Set me back $400 including tax and a few shoot-n-see targets, but it is a lifetime gun for me. Feels exactly like a full-sized one and the action is like butter. Oh yeah, .22 longs are few and far between

I am about to go shoot it in a little while, but it can probably out shoot me on iron sights. I wanted to get some CCI rounds, but they didn't have them anywhere. Found an old box of Remington Thunderbolts

you can backorder the velocitors and have them shipped in february if you plan on blowing through your inventory between now and then

Shot it this afternoon at 25 and 50 yards with iron sights. Figured out I am not as good as I was when I was younger. At 25 I was getting 3" groups and at 50 it was more like 6".
It is weighted perfectly and cycles extremely smooth. Believe it or not, I enjoyed shooting the bolt action more than the 10/22s I have shot. Can't wait to get it completely broken in.
