Saw a nice sportfisher in Mexico named “Poverty Sucks.”

This obviously wouldn’t work for a little bay boat though.

I went fishing with a guide down in Venice several times many years ago. The name of his boat was “Wet Dream.”

Had this discussion one day on the sailboat where we were talking about the dolphins forcing mates into a cave to force mating on them. This lead to somebody saying that would be a good name for a boat but you put an accent on the last letter of each word so when you go into a new port and have to announce your arrival you proudly proclaim the "Rape' Cave'" has arrived. Pronounced roppay covay. And when they ask you to spell it, well, it would be funny.

Had to be there. We were really wasted.

A friend with a very very German sounding name with an inshore boat, we all refer to as the "Knot Sea". That even became his unofficial handle on the local boating/fishing board for a while, when those still existed before Facebook Groups did them all in.

Same town, another friend had a small Boston whaler, no name. But a mutual friend and graphic designer made him a boat name and secretly went out to the marina and applied it.

"Pole Smoker". The graphic is the sillouette of a fisherman with a bent over rod, but he's about to take the rod handle into his mouth. I'll try to find the pic.
