IMO the duck commander gray duck call sounds much more realistic. But it's like twice as long and expensive as the haydels

Nah. He just pretended to be in an effort to reach out to the San Francisco duck callers market. Once he got established out there he used the calls as a front for his importing of poppy seeds back when he was dabbling in the manufacturing of black tar heroin.

Well half the problem is the whistle they stick into one end, but that's what makes it sound so real.

I tried that and got a bunch that had been cut on and some were not as advertised. I will go look again
